The contemporary ecological approach to design emphasizes automation throughout the processes. With this project, I aim to apply this ethos and allow it to guide the design of the chair. The chair has been thoroughly examined in terms of both design and production, particularly focusing on the utilization of raw materials. As a result, all dimensions have been optimized to minimize and maximize material usage.

Originally presented at the Stockholm Furniture Fair in 2012 as a school project, the chair underwent further development. A new prototype was showcased at Salone Satellite in 2016, receiving an honorary mention in the SaloneSatellite Awards. Subsequently, the chair underwent a redesign for the PDM brand.
